Shefa is committed to providing religious support for experiences with expanded states of consciousness, such as breathwork, psychedelics, and other practices, and keeping communications confidential. In the case of a health emergency in connection with your use of the Website, Shefa may be compelled to contact emergency services in order to prioritize the health and safety of you or others. You agree and consent to Shefa’s use of reasonable discretion to contact emergency services or your personal contact as made known to Shefa in such circumstances where Shefa has notice that there is the appearance of or actual health emergency.

In order to use this Website to purchase and participate in Shefa Services, you must be 18 years of age. Shefa also requires that you get the permission of a legal guardian in order to attend any Shefa Events.

Shefa does not endorse, promote, facilitate, nor assist engaging in illegal activities involving controlled substances. Nonetheless, it acknowledges that natural and synthetic substances, including psychedelics, are commonly used for religious ritual, growth, and healing, and such substances are legal or decriminalized in certain areas and/or widely available through medicalization, prescription, and ritualistic use of sacraments protected by religious freedom. Shefa will not take any actions nor give advice that facilitate the breaking of any laws. 

The use of psychedelics may bring certain psychological issues to the surface that requires treatment from a licensed mental health professional or result in physical injury that may require emergency services that are not provided by Shefa.

Your Responsibilities

Arbitration

At Shefa’s sole discretion, it may require you to submit any disputes arising from these Terms of Use or use of the Website, including disputes arising from or concerning their interpretation, violation, invalidity, non-performance, or termination, to final and binding arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association applying the State of California’s law.

Waiver and Severability
